Happy Thanksgiving From A Tribe Fan In Canada

I know they blew a 3-1 lead, but still, here's a little rub to all my friends and family that are Jays fans and one to Metallattorney...I was able to go to Game 6 with thanks to my cousin (marketing director for large Canadian company who bought sponsorship rights for the virtual ads)...got a call Halloween night asking if I could use the 2 tickets for next days game in Cleveland (7 hour drive)...after 1/2 hour of quick arrangements, the trip was a go...wish the outcome was better!  Amazing atmosphere around the ballpark and downtown Cleveland was quite nice...hadn't been there in 15 years.

This is actually my first serial numbered 1/1 card of Sandy Alomar Jr...and it came at half the cost ($22 off ebay) of most of the Archives Signatures numbered to 2 or 3.

Trio of Archives Sigs Numbered to 3 from Three Different Teams

I was really excited to see a Rangers Auto and jumped on it before I realized that Topps had forgot to put the foil Archives stamp on this one...I haven't seen any others (all players) that the foil is missing, however, it is definitely Sandy's auto.

Mixed Bag of Archives Signatures

The White Sox auto was actually the first Archives All-Star Signatures I bought...probably a slight over payment...at the time I wasn't sure what the market would be like, now you can win one #'d/6 for $2.30 on eBay.  Most other auto's sell for between $4-10.

Archives Continued

1994 Topps Finest & 1997 Bowman Chrome

I would have really liked to see Topps use the 1993 Finest (maybe they did and it's a 1/1).  It seems Topps used all base cards and not many parallel/refractor versions or anything with a serial number.

O-Pee-Chee Premier Archives Autos

One really nice auto and one hardly visible...both have a large print run.  The success of the 90-91 OPC Premier hockey did not translate well to baseball.
